Playing out side

We have been outside a lot here lately.  There are a group of kids in our neighborhood that are all around the same age and for the most part they get along really well together.  This past weekend was really busy but it was a great weekend.

Friday night we had a cookout at our house with some friends.  We ended up with 8 adults and at least 10 kids.  Normally our kids go to bed around 8 but it was around 9pm before the last family even left.

Saturday the kids and I went and visited Vince and Sandy.  They were babysitting some of Sandy's grand kids for the weekend.  Then we had friends over for supper and again the kids played until around 9pm.

Sunday continued the fun with all of us going to the Zoo for the day.  In total there were 5 adults and 9 kids.  I think that it is easy to say that while we had a great weekend the adults at least were pretty tired by the end of Sunday.  The kids on the other hand would have gladly kept playing for as long as we would have let them.
