Thursday - We left Gatlinburg on Thursday morning and headed to Jasper because my great Uncle Donnie and his wife Pearl were in from Texas to visit. Unfortunately we were not able to see them last year when the came so it was great to see them this time around. Since Barbara and Wes's house what not the out of the way we stopped by their house on the way and picked Aubrey up to take her with us to Mom and Dad's. The girls enjoyed a couple of extra days playing with each other.
Friday - Uncle Donnie and Aunt Pearl got into Jasper Friday evening. We took them over to Denise's shelter house for supper and to simple enjoy some company. While we were there Steve came over and asked if the girls would like to see the turkeys that he had just gotten in that week. This was a very special treat because not many people get that experience.
Emma also caught her first fish Friday with Grandpa's help of course. Grandpa helped her get it off the hook and she threw it back into the water. Over all they did not have any luck catching anything put the little ones.
Saturday - Emily and Adam had Addi's 5th birthday party at their house on Saturday and since we were home anyway we were actually able to go to it. Living in Indy and Drew having to work every other weekend makes it hard to get home for most of the birthday parties. Addi had a very nice birthday party and the kids had fun playing together.
Sunday - Margie and Steve had a party at their house on Sunday so that everyone could visit with Donny and Pearl some before they headed back to Texas. All of the kids had fun playing in the water together again. Their was the kiddie pool, big pool and hot tub that the kids kept going between. Drew playing volley balls with some of the other guys and ended up with a bloody nose when Alvin collided with him. Besides a bruised nose no harm done.

Monday morning we headed back to Indy and I returned to work on Tuesday.
