5 Months old, Food, and Amoxicillin

Mom and dad came up to visit us over the weekend and we had an indoor picnic for supper on Saturday night.  Vince and Sandy were over for supper as well which made for a very nice get together.  We had home aid hamburgers, onions, mushrooms, and all the fixings along with chips and then cake for desert in honor of Mothers Day.  Emma loved all of the extra attention.

Freddy turned 5 Months old on Saturday.  According to the doctor on Monday he is 28.5 in long and 22lbs 2oz with cloths on.
We started giving him baby food on Saturday.  By Emma's choice we started him on peas which he seams to really like.

Freddy has yet to roll over.  He will roll to his side but beyond that he seams quite content to go no further most of the time. One of these days he will go all the way.  He is moving though but only in circles.

Both Emma and Freddy are currently on Amoxicillin.  Emma woke up last Tuesday screaming and saying that her right ear was hurting.  We gave her some Advil and she seamed to be better but we called and scheduled a Dr. appointment for her anyway.  Her doctor said that we caught the ear infection right at the beginning.   As for Freddy he has been really congested for the last week and then yesterday he did not want to eat so I took him into the doctor afraid that he had an ear infection as well.  Good new was that he did not have an ear infection.  Bad news is that he has a bronchial infection so now he is on amoxicillin also.  If the amoxicillin does not work then he is going to have to take albuteral syrup.  Their doctor seams to think that Freddy will probably be diagnosed with Asthma when he is older.  I can only hope not.
