What a big girl

Not much has been going on around our house this week. Our days consist of working and our nights consist of playing with Emma. It is really hard to believe that it has already been six and a half months since she was born and she is changing so much. Emma definitely has the rolling around down pat now and she can sit up without a problem until she gets distracted. As for teeth there is no evidence that they are coming though yet. I guess she will be like cousin Aubrey and take awhile to get them.

When I went shopping last weekend I bought Emma a new car seat because she is just getting to heavy to be in the baby car seat. Also her Chiropractor suggested that we take her out of it if possible. He called those car seats a necessary evil because the position that they put the baby in causes their backs to lock up and this can cause the spitting up. We are going to try and install the new seat in my car this weekend and see if that along with the continued visits to the Chiropractor help her any.

Also last weekend we changed Emma's feeding schedule so that she is only eating 4 time a day instead of 5. This was more for my convenience then anything. Before I needed to be home from work by 5p.m. so that I could feed her which made it kind of hard to make up any time if I needed to. Now she is eating around 6:30 which makes things a lot nicer. It will also make it easier for us to travel to Jasper because it was hard taking a 3 hour trip when she was wanting to eat every 3 - 3 1/2 hours. Currently she is eating cereal in the morning and then 2 4oz jars of baby food though out the day along with her milk.

Other things that have been going on are that Emma has really started to get into the crawling position and trying to move around that way, and she has found a new sleeping position. It is really cute to watch her try and crawl around. We will really be in trouble when she gets that figured out. As for her sleeping she had been sleeping on her side but she has now started to sleep on her belly and normally moves into one of the corners. We have been keeping the waterproof pad on top of her sheets so that if she spits up or goes though her diaper I did not have to completely change out the sheets. That is going to have to change now though because she is getting ahold of it and pulling it up so that it does not do much good.
