Trip to Jasper

We had a really nice visit in Jasper over the weekend. Emma had her 15 month check-up Friday morning and then we headed out for the weekend. She weighed in at 19lbs 11.2 oz and is 31 1/2 inches tall. In the last 3 months Emma has gained a pound and grew an inch. Her doctor said she is doing great and is really tall for her age.

Friday we stopped by Vince's work to visit for a little bit and then we dropped Jessie off at Vince and Linda's because they do not allow dogs in the cabins at Lincoln. After letting Emma run around there house for a little bit and saying a quick hi and goodbye to Linda we headed up to Lincoln. We stayed at Lincoln over night and had a really good time visiting with family. Emma had a blast playing with the other kids and did not want to go to sleep Friday night or take her nap on Saturday. Barbara and Aubrey made it to the cabins a couple of hours before we left so we were able to see them some as well. Emma has been asking for Aubrey for a good month now. If we ask Emma where Aubrey is she will go over to Aubrey's picture at home.

Saturday afternoon we headed back to Vince and Linda's to visit with them some more. Thankfully Emma took a nap on the way to there house and we were able to let her sleep for awhile after we got there. Saturday night we went to visit with some more friends and family at their lot on Beaver lake. Sunday we headed back home when it was time for Emma's nap. She was so tired that she was asleep within a couple minutes of us leaving their house.

My coworkers gave me a little rose bush and a daisy plant when Emma was born. The daisy did not survive but here is what the rose bush looks like now. It has really grown just like Emma.
