Yardsale

This weekend was the community yard sale in our neighborhood. We were really hoping to sell our old desk along with some of the other things that were laying around the house taking up space. Over all we did pretty good and we were able to sell quite a bit of stuff but we did not get the desk sold. Drew put it on the bulletin board at work so hopefully someone will want it. If nobody wants it we will probably just give it to goodwill or something. Thankfully the rain held off on Saturday until after the yard sale was over.

Emma woke up on Saturday with a fever and runny nose and had the fever for the majority of the weekend so we really did not go anywhere. She is not sick, just teething again. From what I can see there are probably 2 or three teeth on both sides upper and lower that are under the gums. It is kind of hard to tell because she will not let us get a good look and her gums really do not swell or anything. They just become really rigid. Thankfully she is still drinking without a problem but she has not been eating much these last couple of days.

We have continued to take Emma to the bathroom to sit on the potty and she is doing really well. On Sunday she actually went on the potty 4 times. She is getting better at telling us when she needs to go but we have to watch her really close because when she tells you there is no time to waste. I do not think that the baby sister has been taking her to sit on the potty but that is okay. Maybe in another couple weeks/months we will start that.

Anyway here are some pictures that we have taken of Emma recently.

Playing Cards at Grandma and Grandpa's house

Sitting in her camping chair with her teddy bear. Being a ham for the camera

Trying on Mommy's coat. I think she still has a little growing to do before it will fit her.

Lisa- If she's going that well for you at home, you really need to push the issue with the sitter otherwise, it's like telling her it's ok to pee in her pants sometimes, but not others! Once she learns a little more, you'll have longer to get her there.
