Children's Museum & Play date

Last weekend was Drew's weekend to work so I decided to take Emma to the children's museum in the morning to keep her occupied. Unfortunately I did not realize that there were quite a few things going on at the museum that day and it was packed. We got there at 10am when they opened and by 12:30 there were so many people there that I did not feel comfortable trying to keep an eye on Emma by myself. Normally we spend quite a bit of time in Play Scape but this time we ended up spending most of the time in the Dora and Diego Exhibit. Emma had a blast playing with all of the interactive things in the exhibit.

That Saturday was also the grand opening of their incredible costumes exhibit so there were people dressed in various costumes. Here are just a few. To say the lease Drew really wished he had been with us.

R2D2 must have been motion activated or something because when Emma got close it started making noise. After that this is the closest we would get.

Last night we took Emma for a walk outside and ended up letting her have an imprompto play date. A couple down the road from us have a 3 year old boy and he and a friend were outside playing with some electronic ride on toys. Emma hit it off with the boy right away and when it was time to go home we had a very hard time seperating the two.
