We have been working with Emma on tying her shoes for some time now. This weekend we did not have anything planned so I decided that I was going to give it a big push and see if Emma could get the steps down. Her motivation was a new game for her Leap Pad.
To help her distinguish the laces I died half of the lace blue and then we would simply go though the steps one or twice and then take a break. We kept this up all weekend and by the end of the weekend she could tie her shoes without any help.
