Strassenfest and Making Salsa

We went home for the Strassenfest over the weekend and while we were at mom and dad's house we made a big batch of salsa.  We headed down on Friday because Drew wanted to get home in time for the waterball contest.  Emma had a blast playing in the water and even ended up with her picture in the Herald.

Saturday morning we made the salsa and then went out to eat supper with some of the cousins and headed back into the strassenfest to let Emma, Aubrey and Kaden ride a few rides.

Sunday before heading back home we watched some of the parade.  It was scheduled from 1-3 and we only stayed until 2 but we were able to watch about 2/3rds of it before we left.  It was a long but fun weekend.  Normally Emma will not fall asleep on the way back home but I guess the weekend was just to much for her.
