We headed to Jasper on Thursday about 1pm and stopped by Phil and Stephanie's house on the way home to visit and see there new baby girl, Kate. It was really nice being able to visit with them and they have a very nice house. Emma had a blast playing with their son Parker. They were playing with his toys and jumping on his bed. I was kind of surprised that they played that well together because Parker is 2 years older them Emma. I guess that means that he will be a good big brother to Kate. From there we headed to Vince and Linda's house which is where we stayed for the weekend.
Friday Drew went to Evansville with Linda to see Vince in the hospital and I took Emma over to my mom and dad's. Mom and Dad had fun playing with Emma and while she was down for her nap mom and I made some more mint cookies because the ones that we made over Thanksgiving were gone. Thankfully Vince was able to get out of the hospital on Friday and Vince and Linda dropped Drew off at mom and dad's on the way back to there house. Barbara and Wes got to mom and dad's by supper and we celebrated Christmas then. Emma had her first full meal, no baby food, for supper and she did really good with it. Both Emma and Aubrey did really well opening up presents but lost interest after the first couple were opened. Over all it was a nice Christmas and both kids received lots of toys.

Emma and Aubrey wanted to sit on their presents instead of opening them.

Saturday we celebrated Christmas at Vince and Linda's in the morning and then chilled out the rest of the day. Emma received a toy box, chair and a membership to the Children's Museum. Over all it was another very nice day with some of Drew's cousins stopping in to say hi. For some reason Emma ended up getting sick Saturday night and threw up all of the milk and the majority of her baby food. We are not sure exactly what made her sick to her stomach but thankfully she was able to keep everything down on Sunday.

Sunday we went to the Schroering Christmas party for a little bit and then headed back to Indy. While at the party we were able to see Blake and Jill's new little girl, Meadow, and Emma was able to play some with the other kids. Unfortunately it had started to snow by the time we were heading back so we ended up having to drive all of the way back in the snow. It took us about 30 minutes longer then it normally does to get back which is not to bad I guess.

Over all we had a wonderful Christmas and we wish everybody a HAPPY NEW YEAR.
