A New Year

I hope that everybody had a happy and safe new year. Drew had to work all weekend and Emma was not in a very good mood so we really did not do a whole lot. It is really hard to believe that another year has passed.

Emma is currently cutting the 4 top teeth in front which is why she was not in a very good mood. Hopefully they will pop though before to long so that she is feeling better. For the most part she has gotten her balance and can walk anywhere in the house. We have to make sure we keep all of the doors closed because if she sees an open door that is where she wants to go. Also she has really become attached to Miss Kittie, her blankie. Currently we can still get her to let Miss Kittie go for the most part but anytime we are in her room she wants to get her out of the crib.

Emma sitting nice in the chair that Barbara had given her for Christmas. She really likes climbing on it and more often then not ends up sitting on the back of the chair instead of the seat because she has tipped it over.

Eating supper with Mommy and Daddy. Deppending on what we are having for supper and what kind of mood she is in we have started to let Emma eat supper with us instead of eating her baby food. We figure she will be completely on regular food before to long so why not.



Not much else has been going on around our house. We got our new entertainment center in this week. We had ordered it because Emma was able to get to all of the electronics in the old one and the new one has the bottom closed in. Unfortunately she has already figured out how to get the cabinet doors open. I will have to get something to keep them closed when I go to the store this week.
