Shopping and Sickies

We had a good time shopping this weekend in Louisville with Barbara, Aubrey, Mom and Dad. Nobody really found a whole lot but it was nice being able to spend some time together and it was such a nice day. Both Emma and Aubrey did really well for the most part and when it became obvious that they both needed a nap we called it quits for the day. After they had their naps Dad, Drew and Barbara took the girls swimming at the hotel and they both really liked playing in the water together. Neither one minds having water in their face which is a good things as much as they were splashing around.

Emma stayed over at Barbara and Wes's house and they said she did okay once she finally decided to go to sleep. Drew and I went out to eat by ourselves and then had a quite night at the hotel. I have to say it did really feel weird not having Emma with us. Especially not having her car seat in the back of the car, Mom and dad had it since they took her back over to Barbara's house.

On the down sides Drew and Emma are now both sick with sinus colds. Between the sinus cold and her teeth Emma has not been in a very good mood this week. Emma woke up on Monday with goopy eyes and some crusties in her nose and then on Tuesday she started running a fever. Thankfully our babysitter is still watching her because she believes that the fever is more due to the teeth then the cold. Hopefully she will be feeling better for Thanksgiving.

Drew has to work for Thanksgiving so Emma and I will be heading to Jasper on our own either Wednesday night or Thursday morning and then on Friday we are going to the Circus in Evansville with the Hartings side of the family. We will probably head back home then either Saturday or Sunday to spend time with Drew because he is off for the weekend. Hopefully at one point during the weekend Mom, Barbara and I can make some cookies like we used to.

While waiting on Barbara and Aubrey to get back to the hotel Drew decided to take Emma swimming in the Hot Tub that was in there. She had fun playing with Drew.


Splashing around in the Pool. Actually they were in the Hot Tub that was in the Swimming Pool Area. The water was not extremely hot when the jets were not on and it had a ledge to sit on which made it easier to play in.


Both Girls were getting tired again.


Emma would much rather climb on her walker then actually be in it. Here lately she will climb up on it or pull herself up on the stroller and try to push them around that way. It is kind of cute but she has not figured out how to do it with her actually walking toy.
